TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 22, 2019 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) will deliver 78 U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet aircraft in the Block III configuration under a potential $4B contract modification to commence full-rate production, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.
The Department of Defense said Wednesday the modification covers 61 F/A-18E and 17 F/A-18F jets for fiscal years 2018 through 2021, with work done across several locations in the U.S. and Canada through April 2024.
