Bernie Guerry: General Dynamics IT Consolidates Facilities, Adopts New Operating Model Since CSRA Purchase - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Bernie Guerry, chief operating officer of General Dynamics’ information technology business, said GDIT has consolidated over 50 facilities as well as data centers since the parent company closed its approximately $9.7B purchase of CSRA in April 2018, Inside Defense reported Friday.

GDIT implemented a centralized operating framework for contracts, security, finance, human resources and other functions to "take advantage of scale and be able to move resources, scale resources when and where needed," he told reporters Thursday.

Guerry noted that GDIT continues to carry out integration efforts and has implemented CSRA’s use of a centralized “growth team” of engineers, pricing analysts and platform architects to secure contracts worth more than $500M.
