AAR has received a $10.8M order from the U.S. Air Force for the production of 463L aircraft cargo pallets.
The company said Monday its pallets are made from a lightweight balsa wood core and designed for loading and unloading on different aircraft platforms.
Lee Krantz, senior vice president of AAR's mobility systems business, said the company will provide the transport structure to help the Air Force address operational requirements worldwide.
Production work will take place at an AAR facility in Cadillac, Mich.
