AAR's airlift group has received a $34M task order modification from U.S. Transporation Command to help two international military commands transport passengers, cargo and human remains.
The company will provide rotary-wing airlift services to NATO Air Command-Afghanistan/Combined Security Transition Command and support casualty evacuation operations along the Afgha borders, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The modification brings the original task order's potential cumulative value to $67.5M and extends the performance of work through March 18, 2020.
Transcom awarded $948.8M in contracts to AAR, CHI Aviation and Columbia Helicopters in May 2017 to support airlift missions within U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility.
