The Virginia Contracting Activity has issued a request for information on potential sources that could meet the Defense Intelligence Agency’s requirements to improve the intelligence community’s knowledge management platform.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Tuesday says VACA looks for potential contractors that could deploy the Intelligence Community Knowledge Management Tool across multiple networks worldwide and deliver new capabilities to users with a focus on automating analytic workflows.
“The first step in the automation process is to integrate analytic modeling capabilities and allow users to map out intelligence questions and assign queries to each to be run by the tool to provide the analyst with the latest intelligence to support their analysis,†according to the RFI.
The draft statement of work  details several requirements for an updated IC KMT platform such as analytic support; data visualization; data integration and recovery; primary work areas in IC KMT such as functioning analytic environment and web interface; system architecture; and user support.
Responses to the RFI are due March 15.
