The U.S. Army has awarded a $2.42M contract to Twosense.AI for the development of deep neural networks that the service would use for continuous multifactor authentication.
Twosense.AI said Thursday its platform of the same name bases authentications on a subject's gait, interaction patterns and other behavioral signs.
The company will work with the Defense Information Systems Agency to boost the platform's security for use in the government.
The service branch issued the contract in October 2018 as an other transaction agreement from the Rapid Innovation Fund.
Work under the contract would help DISA replace the legacy Common Access Card system with biometrics applications.
