Trust Automation has created a division that will develop and offer a suite of cyber defense technology platforms intended for military customers.

The Trust Intelligence Systems business seeks to commercialize the Autonomic Intelligent Cyber Sensor designed to identify and address cyber threats through machine learning approaches.

The Department of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory developed AICS and has authorized the company to market the technology, which the lab originally designed to secure water, industrial and energy infrastructure.

The new unit also intends to apply its experience developing and securing signal processing, energy management and sensing platforms in efforts to build cyber defense and electronic warfare offerings for the military.
