U.S. Transportation Command seeks information on vendors that can help sustain and update small information technology applications within virtual and physical IT environments.

Transcom said Thursday in a FedBizOpps notice its Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command aims to transition SAS apps to a cloud managed services provider that uses automated pipeline technology.

A potential contractor will migrate the apps to a government-approved cloud infrastructure through agile development methods and release updates on a semi-monthly basis.

Task areas listed in the performance work statement include contract and project management, small application sustainment and enhancements, configuration management and information assurance.

The command will accept responses to the RFI notice through Feb. 28 and expects the project to occur from September of this year through March 2024.
