Dualos and Spirent have partnered to develop platforms for aerospace and military customers to test the performance of communications systems.
The partnership seeks to combine Spirent’s quality of experience and radio frequency testers with Dualos’ test design experience to speed up acquisition cycles and lower costs for communications tests, Spirent said Wednesday.
Spirent designed its RF channel emulation products to help communications systems designers simulate real-world effects such as air-to-ground propagation, reflections and high-speed motion.
Rob Harris, a Dualos executive vice president, said the partnership aims to provide test platforms that can help accelerate the pace of defense programs, shorten procurement cycle times and reduce life cycle costs.
Both companies will participate at an Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association exposition that will take place from Feb. 13 to 15 in San Diego.
Dualos is a HUBZone-certified, woman-owned company that offers supply chain management, embdedded technologies and simulation services to the government and commercial sectors.
