SpaceX has launched a rocket carrying U.S. and foreign space assets from Cape Canaveral, Space News reported Thursday.
The Falcon 9 rocket transported a U.S. Air Force small satellite, Indonesia’s Nusantara Satu communications satellite and Israel’s Beresheet moon lander to space.
Spaceflight built the USAF smallsat that would operate with Nusantara Satu to support the service branch’s situational awareness experiment.
The rocket’s first-stage booster landed on the Of Course I Still Love You drone ship about nine minutes after the launch, marking the company’s 34th booster reentry.
Elon Musk, CEO at SpaceX, said the firm intends to use the booster again in April to support an in-flight abort test with the Crew Dragon spacecraft.
