France-based aircraft maintenance services provider Sabena Technics has partnered with Kellstrom Defense Aerospace, an aircraft engineering and manufacturing services provider headquartered in California, to help military customers maintain their C-130 transport planes.
KDA said Monday it will perform aftermarket repair and overhaul of C-130 components and parts under a multiyear agreement between the two companies.
The El Segundo, Calif.-based company also provides support services for legacy rotary and fixed-wing platforms such as the A-10, 707, F-5, T-38, F-16, F-15, F-18 and P-3.
C-130, manufactured by Lockheed Martin, functions as the primary transport system for airdropping personnel and equipment into hostile areas.
