Robert Osburn, a more than four-decade healthcare industry veteran, has been named chief operating officer of population health management company HealthEC.
He will be responsible for helping drive HealthEC's strategic development efforts and grow its customer base in the public and private sectors, HealthEC said Thursday.
“His contracting skills, command of the regulatory landscape and ability to identify revenue opportunities align particularly well with HealthEC’s plans to expand our government business and to show state Medicaid agencies how to leverage our population health management platform to measure and compare evidence-based performance and outcomes of managed care organizations, providers and members,†said Arthur Kapoor, president and CEO at HealthEC.
Osburn previously served as chief health policy officer, COO and VP of business and strategic development at DXC Technology's Molina Healthcare Corp. subsidiary. Before that, he led Healthcare Enhancement Systems as chairman and CEO and held positions at Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corp., Comprehensive Care Corp. and Charter Medical Corp.
He is a former Hold Separate Trustee with the Federal Trade Commission.
