Akima's RiverTech subsidiary has won a potential five-year, $34.5M contract to provide command-and-control technical support services to the U.S. Air Force.
The Department of Defense said Tuesday RiverTech will help the military service plan and execute training and test events, as well as facilitate live-virtual-constructive and distributed mission operations.
Work includes operational support, non-kinetic operations training and tactics development and operational testing of C2, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems.
The Air Combat Command Acquisition Management and Integration Center received three offers for the firm-fixed-price contract via a competitive acquisition process.
Rivertech will provide the services at Kirtland AF Base in New Mexico and Nellis AFB in Nevada through March 25, 2024.
The branch initially bligated $3.5M in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds on the contract.
