SRI International‘s Ravenswood Solutions subsidiary has received a potential $39.9M contract to manufacture global positioning system-based training instrumentation systems for the Army National Guard.
Ravenswood said Monday it will supply two FlexTrain systems and network hardware as well as provide Orion software license to ARNG for five years.
FlexTrain is designed to track vehicles and personnel during training and testing activities at a range of up to 2.5K square miles.
The Orion platform works to collect data from multiple sensors and helps training officials conduct post-exercise reviews.
Dan Donoghue, CEO at Ravenswood, said more than 130K U.S. and allied troops have participated in FlexTrain-supported live training exercises and after-action assessments.
