Marty Rodgers, managing director of Accenture’s Metro Washington, D.C. office, has been promoted to senior managing director, ExecutiveBiz has learned.
The promotion seeks to recognize Rodgers' contributions to the company across business, strategy, mentoring and leadership.
Rodgers also serves as managing director of Accenture’s health and public service – Southeast and executive head of the firm’s nonprofit group and international public sector practice.
He brings to his role nearly two decades of federal and industry experience in program and project management, IT strategy and transformation, business strategy, business case development and change management.
Prior to Accenture, Rodgers helped develop several pieces of legislation including the School-to-Work Opportunities Act of 1993, National & Community Service Trust Act of 1993 and the King Holiday & Service Act.
He is a corporate social responsibility advocate and is committed to diversity awareness and minority recruiting.
Rodgers sits on the University of Notre Dame’s board of trustees, the Greater Washington Board of Trade, the Federal City Council and The Economic Club of Washington.
