Executive Mosaic is honored to introduce Mac Curtis, president and CEO of Perspecta, as an inductee into the 2019 Wash100 — Executive Mosaic’s annual selection of the most influential voices in the government contracting arena — for addressing digital transformation needs in healthcare, defense and intelligence. This marks the fifth consecutive Wash100 award for Curtis.

Since June 2018, Curtis has held the roles of Perspecta CEO and president s after serving in the same capacity at Vencore for four years. In his current position, Curtis leads over 14,000 people working to address the digital transformation needs of Perspecta’s healthcare, defense, intelligence, civilian and state and local government customers.

Last year, Perspecta secured a potential 10-year, $920M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to integrate its open-source data acquisition procedures with emerging technology to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s GEOINT operations. Speaking about the Janus Geography contract win, Curtis said it continues Perspecta’s “legacy of mission critical support to the NGA enterprise.”

In October, Perspecta received a potential five-year, $564M task order to provide integration and maintenance support for the Department of Defense’s Defense Manpower Data Center. The contract also covers support services for the DoD’s mission-critical hardware and software around the world.

Additionally, Perspecta won a spot on a potential five-year, $300M blanket purchase agreement in December to provide intelligence analysis and related services to the FBI. Curtis noted that the award enables Perspecta to support the FBI through the company’s experience in critically important national security programs.

“We are committed to never stop solving our nation’s most complex challenges,” Curtis said about the award.

Prior to leading Perspecta and Vencore, Curtis served across various executive roles at Veritas Capital, Vangent, Pearson Government Solutions and NCS. He has acquired more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in federal government contracting, securing awards such as the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s 2016 executive leader of the year in recognition of his efforts to raise $2.1M for the D.C. Heart Walk.

Curtis provides leadership to the Northern Virginia Technology Council and the Board of Directors for the Military Bowl and serves as a member of the Volgenau Engineering School Advisory Board at George Mason University, among other various intelligence, tech and government advisory boards.

Executive Mosaic congratulates Mac Curtis and the Perspecta team for receiving this award.
