Jacobs has launched a campaign that aims to address global challenges in the areas of urbanization, water scarcity, climate change, digital proliferation and security.
The company said Tuesday its new #WhatIf campaign, announced during a recent investor event, brings technologies geared to help users tackle these issues.
"These are significant challenges that demand sustainable, technology-enabled approaches to improve social, environmental and economic outcomes," said Darren Kraabel, chief technology and innovation officer at Jacobs.
He added that the firm is investing in five hubs that work to develop cybersecurity, geospatial science, automated design, internet of things and data analytics technologies designed to help businesses and other organizations.
