GDIT Lands $99M FAA Contract to Design Data Analysis System for NAS Operations

TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 22, 2019 — A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) business unit will work with the Federal Aviation Administration under a potential $99M contract to design, install and maintain a platform aimed to help assess National Airspace System operations, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday General Dynamics Information Technology will help modernize FAA’s NAS infrastructure by implementing technological updates on the Data Visualization, Analysis and Reporting System, which will feature both custom software and commercial components, as well as migrating this system to an enterprise architecture.
