Bryant Headley, a former program manager at the Food and Drug Administration and the Department of Veterans Affairs, has joined MasterControl as head of sales and customer success initiatives for the government sector.
He will be responsible for managing the software vendor's relationships with customer agencies in his new position, the company said Thursday.
Headley helped FDA implement MasterControl-built technology through a project aimed to streamline the agency's legacy processes. He previously managed VA's Health Data Repository initiative, which gathered veterans' clinical data and identified a method to display historical data from more than 100 health information systems and technology platforms.
He also worked as a compliance officer and helped simplify the process to manufacture reusable medical equipment for VA hospitals.
Salt Lake City-based MasterControl offers software products designed to help organizations automate new product development, regulatory, clinical, quality and supplier management and post-market surveillance processes.
