Kevin Rice, a more than 25-year government consulting services veteran, has joined technology services contractor B3 Group as chief operating officer.
He previously served as president of Prosphere-Tek, where he led efforts to expand the firm to more than 500 employees and managed $600M in contracts with 13 federal departments, B3 Group said Tuesday.
Rice also worked at Information Innovators Inc. and led its health information technology business that focused on the departments of Veteran Affairs and Health and Human Services.
Dwight Hunt, B3 Group president and CEO, said Rice brings federal market experience as the company aims to expand into new markets.
B3 Group is headquartered in Herndon, Va., and provides health IT, acquisition, clinical, infrastructure, software engineering and program management office support to government clients.
