Electrosoft Welcomes Jet Defensor as New VP of Business Development

Jet Defensor, a 25-year industry veteran with expertise in business development, sales, channel management, marketing and professional services, has joined Reston, Va.-based tech provider Electrosoft as vice president of business development.

He will lead the development and execution of the company’s business development strategy mainly aimed at securing new federal contracts, Electrosoft said Tuesday.

“I am excited to undertake the challenge of achieving Electrosoft’s strategic growth targets for 2019 and beyond,” Defensor said.

The new VP added he intends to help Electrosoft continue its growth momentum after it closed 2018 with a 40 percent increase in revenue.

Prior to joining Electrosoft, Defensor held various management roles across the industry, including Defensor Dynamics, Accelera Solutions, ISSTSPi and AS Global.

“Jet brings a wealth of expertise to this role,” such as business expansion and new market penetration, said Sarbari Gupta, president and CEO of Electrosoft.

Gupta said the company aims to increase its annual revenues of $50M and its workforce with 250 new employees by 2022.
