ECS Named Prime Awardee on FBI’s Cybersecurity Support Contract; George Wilson Quoted - top government contractors - best government contracting event

ECS has been named prime awardee on a potential six-year, $38M contract to manage the FBI’s two cybersecurity programs.

The Cybersecurity Red and Blue Team program and the Enterprise Compliance and Continuous Monitoring Support program seek to monitor and secure the bureau’s networks from external and internal threat actors, ECS said Wednesday.

“At ECS, we’ve integrated our Cybersecurity Center of Excellence with a dynamic law enforcement practice that supports and protects some of our nation’s most critical agencies,” said George Wilson, president of ECS and a 2019 Wash100 winner.

“We are proud to provide the skills, knowledge, and creativity needed to secure the systems and networks of the FBI.”

Under the contract, the company will deploy on-premise and remote cyber platforms to build up the bureau’s security posture, respond to threat incidents and look for vulnerabilities.

ECS will implement risk- and threat-driven methods to defend networks across the FBI, oversee the technical infrastructure of the bureau’s information security unit and coordinate the unit’s cyber operations.
