Dylan Thomas, who worked as a software engineer and project manager at Woolpert from 2004 to 2010, has rejoined the architecture, engineering and geospatial services provider as cloud practice leader.
Thomas will oversee Woolpert’s Google Cloud product division and cloud strategy through the firm’s office in Denver, the company said Thursday.
He said delivering cloud platforms is the next logical move for Woolpert, which has worked on various projects involving large data workloads.
“The cloud is looming large for new and existing customers, and we can help them get there with confidence,†he added.
Prior to returning to Woolpert, Thomas served as head of partner engineering and Android Automotive at Google.
He previously worked as a senior program manager at Microsoft and as a sales engineer at Esri.
