DHS Eyes New Contracting Strategy for Agile Software Dev't Services - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Interested vendors have until March 7 to respond to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement request for information on possible contracting strategy for agile software development services.

ICE said Tuesday in a FedBizOpps notice the agency is considering using a multiple-award blanket purchase agreement under the General Services Administration's Schedule program to address the new requirement.

The agency has historically sought agile development services via the Department of Homeland Security's mandatory Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II contract.

According to ICE, its current requirement is for multiple potential procurement efforts. Multiple contractors currently provide agile development support to the agency.
