BAE Systems has signed a lease to occupy an approximately 200,000-square-feet buildingÂ in Manchester, N.H., as part of efforts to expand footprintÂ in the state.
The campusÂ is locatedÂ at 3000 Goffs Falls Road and will accommodate as many as 800 employees who will support BAE’s electronic warfare programsÂ within theÂ electronic systems business segment, the companyÂ said Monday.
Ray Brousseau, vice president and deputy general manager of BAE’s electronics systems sector, said investing in the new facility will allow the company to leverage theÂ local workforce as part of efforts to grow its capacity and accelerate delivery of products to military clients.
TheÂ Nashua-based business has spent more thanÂ $100M onÂ manufacturing expansion initiatives and seeksÂ to further expand operations in Texas and Alabama.
BAE employs more thanÂ 6K peopleÂ at multipleÂ facilities throughout the state.
