BAE Secures $575M for Initial Production of Army's Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicles - top government contractors - best government contracting eventTYSONS CORNER, VA, February 21, 2019 — BAE Systems has received $575M in modifications to a previously awarded U.S. Army contract for the low-rate initial production of Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicles, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday the contract modifications work to commence the LRIP phase of the AMPV program, with the initial $128M awarded in January and $447M awarded this month to fund the start of production.
