Apogee Engineering has won a potential six-year, $28.2M contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide logistical support to the Space and Missile System Center and related organizations.

The Space Logistics Infrastructure Support Services 2 contract includes support for the Air Force Space Command's intelligence, command, control and communications functions, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

DoD added the Air Force Satellite Control Network, Space Lift Range System, Global Positioning System, Defense Meteorological Satellite Program, Military Satellite Communications and Space Based Infrared Systems will receive services through SLISS-2.

Work will take place at Schriever and Peterson Air Force Bases and is scheduled to conclude by Feb. 28, 2025.

The Space and Missile Center's sustainment directorate received four offers for the firm-fixed-price contract via a competitive acquisition process. USAF will obligate $4.5M in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.

Apogee is a minority-owned company headquartered in Colorado and offers software, engineering, science, management, mission and cybersecurity support services to the defense civilian sectors.
