Altamira Technologies has received a task order of an undisclosed value to help the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency build a geospatial database for homeland security initiatives.

The company said Thursday it will support the agency in efforts to deliver geospatial intelligence analytical services to federal agencies and policymakers via the Homeland Infrastructure Foundation Level Data program.

NGA awarded the task order under a Janus indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle.

Altamira has provided data covering U.S. Northern Command's assigned area for the database. The company holds a spot on the potential $920M Janus Geography IDIQ awarded last year.
