Vertex Aerospace will continue its contractor logistics support for the U.S. Air Force’s C-12 aircraft fleet under a potential $70M contract.
The Mississippi-based company said Thursday it had received a $35M option year award for the latest contract extension.
Vertex will provide support services for the C-12 at more than 20 locations in the U.S. and around the world.
“We are extremely pleased with the trust the United States Air Force has placed in Vertex by unilaterally extending our contract,” said Nydia Rosado, vice president of contracts and global trade compliance at Vertex.
The company offers aircraft maintenance and logistical services to government and private sector customers worldwide.
Work for the current C-12 effort is set for completion by the end of the year.
