The Department of Veterans Affairs is looking for potential industry sources of software testing services to support VA’s information technology modernization initiatives.

VA said in a FedBizOpps notice posted Friday it seeks a contractor to support to the department’s Enterprise Testing Service as well as its data migration, system interoperability and data exchange applications.

A selected vendor will help test platforms such as electronic medical record, financial management and medical logistics systems.

The notice states that testing work will also involve legacy VistA and updated software products as well as middleware and custom interface applications.

Responses are due Jan. 31.
