The Transportation Security Administration has issued a request for information to determine potential vendors that can help an agency division manage and maintain information technology systems.
TSA said in a FebBizOpps notice posted Monday it seeks industry input on an upcoming IT support requirement as part of efforts to expand transportation vetting services, ensure continuity of operations and manage geographically dispersed systems continuously.
Tasks listed in the RFI document include network operations, program management, help desk, quality assurance, configuration, infrastructure, security and on-site operations support services.
The agency will accept feedback through Feb. 8 and expects to award a contract, which will have a one-year base period and six option years, by the third quarter of fiscal 2020,
