Thales‘ defense and security business has landed a potential $30.9M contract to manufacture components and provide engineering services for the U.S. Navy’s high-frequency distribution amplifier group system.

The Department of Defense said Thursday the sole-source, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has an ordering period of five years and will take place in Clarksburg, Md., and West Sussex, England

The Navy will issue an initial delivery order shortly after the award of IDIQ and use fiscal 2018 shipbuilding and conversion funds on the order.
