Red Hat has released a new version of its open-source server designed to help organizations implement and manage enterprise Java applications.
JBoss Enterprise Appplication Platform 7.2 is built to comply with federal security requirements and offers support for Windows and Enterprise Linux and Java Development Kit, , Red Hat said Tuesday.
The Java Enterprise Edition 8 standard-compliant platform also works to integrate with the OpenShift containerization software for clustered apps and seeks to accelerate data source access through the Agroal Datasources Subsystem.
Red Hat noted its developer community can download the JBoss EAP on the company’s online customer portal.
