Raytheon has received a three-year, $81.2M contract modification to provide components needed to implement configuration updates to the EA-18G and F/A-18E/F planes of the U.S. Navy and Australia.
The company will provide 228 items in order to complete engineering change proposals related to the two aircraft platforms’ configuration D retrofit component, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Ninety-nine percent of contract purchases are for the Navy and the remaining 1 percent is for the Australian government.
Naval Air Systems Command will obligate the full amount of the modification from fiscal 2019 Navy aircraft procurement and foreign military sales funds at the time of award.
The company will perform work through February 2022 at various locations in Massachusetts, California and Mississippi.
