The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has issued a request for information on a contractor's ability to determine military positions and equipment within a bounded geographic area.

NGA said in a FedBizOpps notice posted Wednesday it seeks to obtain insight into the location, activity and infrastructure at military or government positions through a review of imagery over the past 12 months.

The agency noted it may offer access to commercial or classified imagery collections and that a contractor may apply non-imagery sources to conduct the analysis. The selected vendor must obtain secret level clearance in order to handle positions and equipment from classified areas.

Interested parties have until Feb. 13 to submit input on their technical capabilities.

NGA looks to award a 12-month contract with options to accommodate additional areas and newly searched locations for monitoring.
