Bloomberg has selected Leidos for the media company’s 2019 Gender-Equality Index in recognition of its efforts to observe transparency in gender reporting and support for the female workforce
GEI evaluates corporate gender equality based on company statistics, employee policies, external community engagement and gender-conscious offerings, Leidos said Wednesday.
The company topped rankings in a number of areas including family care, health care, supplier diversity initiatives and number of women on board of directors.
“Our workforce is comprised of diverse cultures and perspectives,” said Roger Krone, chairman and CEO at Leidos.
“We will continue to seek and embrace practices and policies that positively impact our company and employees,” added Krone, an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s 2019 Wash100.
