Inmarsat and Collins Aerospace have partnered to provide onboard Wi-Fi connectivity for aviation customers under a new value added reseller agreement.
Under the deal, Collins Aerospace will resell the Jet ConneX service as part of its ARINCDirectSM offering to facilitate inflight internet and air-ground data transfer for business jet operators, Inmarsat said Thursday.
ARINCDirect works to help customers plan and manage flight operations.
Collins Aerospace was formed through the combination of Rockwell Collins and United Technologies Corp.‘s aerospace systems unit.
The combined entity also serves as Inmarsat’s VAR for government markets worldwide.
