The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity will host an event next month to provide information about upcoming solicitations for two programs that aim to secure artificial intelligence and machine learning systems from privacy or security threats.
In a FedBizOpps notice posted Friday, IARPA said it intends to answer questions from interested parties regarding the Secure, Assured, Intelligent Learning Systems and Trojans in Artificial Intelligence programs during the proposers’ day on Feb. 26 in Washington D.C.
The SAILS program will focus on developing model creation methods to protect sensitive data and the TrojAI program will center on addressing malicious Trojan threats in AI platforms.
IARPA will also accommodate remote participants via conference call and entertain emailed questions at the event, which the agency said will only serve informational purposes and not directly offer solicitations.
