Cubic Recognized for Workplace Diversity; Grace Lee Quoted

Cubic has been selected to Forbes’ 2019 list of best U.S. employers for diversity for its commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

The publication ranked the top 500 companies across various sectors such as aerospace and defense, information technology and health care industries, Cubic said Monday.

“As a company with a global presence, it’s especially important for us to cultivate a diverse and inclusive culture,” said Grace Lee, a senior vice president, chief human resources and diversity officer at Cubic.

“We are constantly focused on increasing our diversity of thought and experiences to further strengthen our inclusive environment,” Lee added.

Market research firm Statista helped Forbes gather online survey responses from 50K full-time and part-time employees who graded their employers on a set of criteria including ethnicity, age, disability, general diversity and gender equality.
