Cisco has introduced new networking, development and design offerings intended for an internet of things environment.

The company said Tuesday its solutions can be rapidly deployed through automation and modified to accommodate new technologies such as a 5G network.

Cisco’s new products include IOS XE-powered industrial Integrated Services routers and Catalyst industrial switches designed for IoT infrastructure and managed through the Cisco DNA Center.

The company also produced three Cisco Validated Designs for IoT architectures and launched developer tools through the new IoT Developer Center in support of its DevNet creation program.

Cisco noted that its industrial switches and routers are currently available to order.
