The U.S. Army's Engineering Research and Development Center is looking for potential providers of smart technologies and tools that can help military installation commanders collect and process large amounts of data from multiple sources to better manage the military service's facilities.

The Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management predicts that installations of the future will use data analytics, cloud computing and artificial intelligence platforms in efforts to increase operational efficiency and manage force sustainability, according to a FedBizOpps notice posted Monday.

ERDC plans to host an industry day to determine potential methodologies, standards and requirements for technology-focused pilot use-case demonstrations in the areas of community services, facility operations, infrastructure and security.

The center's personnel will brief interested parties on the strategic framework for future installations at the event.

Vendors can submit responses to the request for information notice through March 7.
