Amazon Web Services has given Anitian the authority to operate the latter’s automated security management tool on the AWS platform.
Anitian said Monday its Sherlock Compliance Automation offering will be used to rapidly develop and handle security compliance workloads on AWS as part of the ATO on AWS program.
SCA monitors non-compliant configurations and reverts environments to a compliant setting for FedRAMP, PCI-DS and ISO/GDPR standards.
Additionally, the tool protects user data through 24/7 security and compliance monitoring handled by Anitian’s Security Operations Center based in the U.S.
Andrew Plato, CEO of Anitian, said SCA removes tedious compliance processes and provides an automated and audit-ready environment that can be deployed in hours instead of months.
The product recently finished FedRAMP deployment for software-as-a-service firm Smartsheet in less than 60 days, making it the fastest ever FedRAMP compliance effort documented.
Customers can avail of the SCA tool through Anitian or the AWS Marketplace platform.
