The U.S. Air Force‘s AFWERX organization seeks a platform-as-a-service offering that can help Joint Force Space Component Commander-led operations centers to  process data sources for space situational awareness efforts and implement systems to aid space command-and-control mission.
The organization is looking for a contractor to build a computing environment that would support big data, internet of things and artificial intelligence applications on premise and in the cloud through the DevOps PaaS model, the General Services Administration‘s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center said Tuesday.
FEDSIM noted the platform should run on Amazon Web Services‘ GovCloud system and address different use cases related to the national security space enterprise.
Interested parties have until Jan. 18 to submit proposals describing their technical capacities to address the requirement.
The center expects product demonstrations to occur via a videoconference during the week of Feb. 4 and intends to award a contract after the competitive solicitation process.
