The U.S. Air Force intends to award Raytheon a potential 10-year contract to provide technical support for the Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missile system.
Task orders will include software updates, software corrections, flight test support and analyses, user support, simulations, logistics, field support and design studies, according to a presolicitation notice posted Wednesday on FedBizOpps.
USAF, the U.S. Navy and foreign military sales customers will receive the services under the proposed sole-source, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The IDIQ contains a five-year base period that could begin in October and five option years.
AMRAAM is designed to support various military operations such as air-to-air and surface-launch engagements and integrate with multiple aircraft platforms including F-15, F-16, F/A-18, F-22 and F-35.
