Abaco Systems has unveiled a new module card designed to help customers develop embedded computing applications in electronic warfare, wireless communications or digital radar receiver systems.
FMC172Â offers analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion functions and is designed to expand bandwidth range for analog devices, the company said Tuesday.
Peter Thompson, vice president of product management at Abaco, said the card operates at a conversion rate of 3.2 giga-samples per second for single channel use and up to 6.4 GSPS for two channels.
The module is built to function with Abaco's VP869 and VP889 processor boards and equipped with temperature monitoring and power supply tools to avoid overheating.
