Sehlke Consulting and UiPath have teamed up to establish a center that seeks to meet the financial management needs of the Department of Defense through the use of robotic process automation.
The Financial Management Robotic Operating Center of Excellence will serve as a “think tank†to advance the development and testing of robotic systems in support of DoD’s efforts to achieve financial accountability, the companies said in a news release Tuesday.Â
“FM robots are going to change the way the DoD does business, freeing up resources to focus on more challenging tasks, and quickly increasing the accuracy and auditability of the DoD financial statements,†said Chad Sehlke, founder and CEO of Sehlke.
Jonathan Padgett, vice president of U.S. public sector at UiPath, said the company will leverage its open architecture, authorities to operate in defense and civilian agencies and tech deployment capability to help the Pentagon meet financial readiness.
Sehlke will combine its DoD processes and systems with UiPath’s RPA platform to deliver robotic systems to the government through FM ROCoE.
