Nlyte Software has secured a contract to help the Department of Energy and its national laboratories implement software designed to automatically monitor information technology systems and devices.
The company said Tuesday it will provide the Data Center Infrastructure Management platform to the department under an enterprise agreement.
DCIM employs artificial intelligence and machine learning approaches intended to help users predict an outage and potential security vulnerabilities.
The agreement also covers the company’s Asset Optimizer, Energy Optimizer, Virtualization Connector, System Utilization Monitor, ServiceNow CMDB and Change Management Connector products.
Andrew Ryan, vice president of Nlyte’s federal business, said the company works with more than 30 agencies to update its DCIM technology and comply with the federal government’s Data Center Optimization Initiative.
