Harris has released a new software platform for public safety dispatchers to access radio users and network traffic data in real time through a communication console.
The company said Friday its latest Symphony dispatch console software works to help disable lost radios and remotely operate Tait Communications‘ TB9100 and TB9400 base stations.
“This update is another step in furthering our technology to provide more insight to everyone on emergency communications teams,” said Ryan Carson, director of strategy and product line management for communications systems at Harris.
The software features a function to playback audio with console-connected speakers.
Harris noted it offers communications systems and equipment for public safety, federal, transportation, utility and commercial applications.
