Don Hirsch, a former vice president of General Dynamics‘ information technology business, has joined 1901 Group as senior VP of service delivery at the Reston, Va.-based cloud computing services contractor.
The three-decade federal IT market veteran will oversee 1901 Group’s delivery engagements and efforts to drive revenue and establish partnerships, the company said Wednesday.
Hirsch said “federal customers increasingly recognizing the value of leveraging cloud computing and managed services … so they can focus their energies on supporting their organizations’ core mission.”
He most recently led National Institutes of Health programs at GDIT and has led the unit’s operations across the federal civil and health markets during his 14-year career there.
