Circadence has integrated a cybersecurity learning and assessment platform with Microsoft‘s Azure cloud computing service.
Project Ares is designed to help government, enterprise and academic customers train cyber professionals through cloud-based virtual ranges, Circadence said Thursday.
The artificial intelligence-powered training system uses a range-as-a-service model designed to spin up simulated environments and support individual skill-based learning, student or staff evaluation, cyberattack scenario testing or team collaboration.
The platform’s Athena in-game adviser assists players as they progress through various learning levels.
“Our virtual cyber ranges are built from the ground up based on rigorous security and privacy demands, which makes them able to support collective nation-state exercises, as well as model entire cities to develop living physical and fifth domain environments,â€Â said Michael Moniz, co-founder, president and CEO of Circadence.
Moniz added the company seeks to provide both technology and content to help government agencies migrate cyber ranges to a public cloud environment.
